tiny dancer

ellie’s love of performing was born and fostered at metropolitan school of the arts in northern virginia! dancing here from ages three to eighteen, ellie became a member of two of its preprofessional companies and performed in countless recitals and revues!

new territory

in middle school, ellie discovered musical theatre! through her six years at robinson secondary school’s rambunctious theatre company, ellie was also given the opportunity to choreograph multiple musicals. here, she fell in love with choreographing.

ellie recently graduated from oklahoma city university with her degree in dance performance! here, she worked diligently to become a well-rounded performer, gaining experience in dance, theatre, and voice, as well as working as a production assistant and taking classes focused on arts management and dance teaching. ellie’s biggest passion that emerged from her college years, though, was rhythm tap and the importance of its history.

where to next?

currently, ellie is planning to relocate to chicago where she will continue to pursue an education and career in theatre and dance, focusing on rhythm tap. in a city like chicago, she knows anything could happen and she’s excited to see where the wind may take her!

    Ellie is a proud Italian! Her family is from the little town of Biella in Northern Italy. Here’s a tip to help you pronounce her last name. The double Z in “Guzzano” has the same “ts” sound as it does in the word “pizza!”

  • A True Creative

    Ellie wanted to have a creative outlet outside of her career so she’s found hobbies in creating avant garde makeup looks, unique clothing designs, and visual art pieces as well!

  • Young at Heart

    In a world where everything seems serious, Ellie likes to balance her mature mind with a youthful spirit. She finds joy in the little things: bubbles, buttercups, sparkles, and especially color. She believes that you can never be too old to enjoy sweet simple pleasures!

  • We Can Do It!

    Ellie’s sophomore year in college, her friend Mattie and her were put in charge of building a spirit structure for Homecoming with no prior building knowledge. Using nothing but perseverance, teamwork and the power of Google, they were able to win second place in the competition!

  • Adventures in Prop Making

    In college Ellie got to work as a Production Assistant where her coworkers eventually nicknamed her the prop master. The soldier nutcracker above was Ellie’s favorite prop she built.
